Position Overview: Software Developer in IoT

Role Summary

This role is tailored for individuals with a strong background in IoT technologies, particularly focusing on LoRaWAN and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advance the software development for an IoT initiative centered on sensor integration in modular structures;
  • Oversee database architectures to ensure optimal data management and accessibility;
  • Develop algorithms and conduct physical computations to analyze humidity sensor outputs;
  • Enhance the dependability of hardware components for IoT applications, ensuring compatibility and efficiency;
  • Evaluate client requirements and deliver innovative software solutions;
  • Maintain and update web applications utilizing contemporary frameworks such as Angular or VueJS;
  • Refine user interfaces through JavaScript and/or TypeScript;
  • Employ Git for version control in a collaborative development environment;
  • Adapt software solutions for sensors connected via LoRaWAN;
  • Set up and manage LoRaWAN servers, particularly ChirpStack, for effective node and gateway oversight;

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline;
  • Proficiency in IoT, LoRaWAN, backend technologies, frameworks like Angular, VueJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, ChirpStack, NodeJS, Linux, and SQL;
  • Familiarity with best practices in backend development, emphasizing security and scalability;
  • Experience in independent work and adept problem-solving with advanced analytical skills;
  • Proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and strong self-management abilities.
