Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with a focus on IoT and LoRaWAN technologies. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a strong background in backend development and are passionate about innovative technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advance the software development efforts for an IoT initiative aimed at enhancing sensor connectivity in modular structures;
  • Oversee database architecture to ensure optimal data management and retrieval;
  • Develop algorithms and perform physical calculations to analyze humidity sensor outputs;
  • Improve the reliability and performance of hardware utilized in IoT applications;
  • Evaluate client requirements and suggest cutting-edge software solutions;
  • Maintain and update web applications utilizing contemporary frameworks such as Angular or VueJS;
  • Refine user interfaces through JavaScript and/or TypeScript;
  • Employ Git for collaborative version control within the development team;
  • Adapt software solutions for sensors connected via LoRaWAN;
  • Set up and manage LoRaWAN servers, particularly ChirpStack, for effective node and gateway operations;

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline;
  • Proficient in IoT, LoRaWAN, backend development, and frameworks including Angular, VueJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, ChirpStack, NodeJS, Linux, and SQL;
  • Familiarity with best practices in backend development, focusing on security and scalability;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and tackle complex problems with analytical skills;
  • Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong self-management capabilities.
