Position Overview: The Infrastructure Systems Engineer is a proactive, analytical, and business-oriented professional with exceptional technical and communication skills. This role involves collaborating with a diverse team of IT and business partners to analyze, install, configure, and maintain the server and storage infrastructure. Adherence to security and compliance standards is paramount in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business operations to define server and storage requirements, provision necessary infrastructure, and transition it to application teams. Diagnose and resolve issues related to server and storage access, performance, and capacity. Design and implement highly available and resilient solutions based on industry best practices. Document solution designs and implementation processes, ensuring knowledge transfer to operational teams. Monitor server and storage systems by configuring performance and capacity indicators and alerts. Conduct regular maintenance on server and storage systems, applying security updates and performing hardware and software upgrades. Participate in the evaluation and testing of new server systems and storage solutions. Manage assigned projects to deliver services in line with established objectives. Provide technical assistance and support to staff, administrators, service providers, and vendors. Troubleshoot operational issues in server and storage systems to restore services while adhering to service level agreements. Follow established change management protocols. Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives efficiently. Maintain both on-premises and cloud infrastructure. Migrate existing on-premises SQL databases to cloud-based solutions.

This position requires the completion of security clearance for all employees to qualify. The role is primarily remote with occasional in-office requirements.
