About the Role

The Senior Accountant is a key member of the Westlake team, responsible for providing financial leadership and expertise to support the company's growth and success. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, as well as providing financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all plant accounting functions, including financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business strategy and growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost savings opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide training and support to plant staff on financial matters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S4HANA.
