Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-time Custodian I to join our team at Rocky View Schools. As a Part-time Custodian I, you will be responsible for providing routine cleaning duties at our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers
  • Restock cleaning supplies and maintain a clean and organized storage area
  • Assist with special events and projects as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Head Building Operator
Requirements
  • Previous cleaning experience is considered an asset
  • Certifications from cleaning organizations are considered an asset
  • Previous experience within a school division is considered an asset
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday after school hours, with the exception of 1-2 day shifts per month. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
