International Office Specialist

Job Summary:
The International Office Specialist position at CB Canada requires a highly motivated and organized individual to work out of the Import office with the International Management Team. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for motivating employees and meeting deadlines by directing employees to effectively meet department goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Flexibility with start and finish times
- Strong sense of urgency and effective time management
- Strong understanding of international methods and procedures
- Training existing employees and new hires
- Documenting training provided and observed in employee training packets
- Re-certifying existing employees on international methods and procedures
- Participating in goal setting for administrative employee performance appraisal reviews
- Providing employees with positive and constructive feedback on work standards and performance
- Coaching and assisting customer counter employees with escalated customer concerns
- Maintaining employee records, including profiles and attendance
- Planning and coordinating employee work schedules and vacation
- Assisting with projects and tasks assigned by Supervisor/Manager
- Verifying and authorizing employee time cards
- Supply ordering and invoice processing
Requirements:
- Fully bilingual
- Strong communication and people skills
- Good knowledge of internal systems, including ETT, OPSYS, and ISPSYS
- Troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to make quick decisions
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Internet Explorer
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong international knowledge with regards to processes
- Post-secondary degree
