International Office Specialist

Job Summary:

The International Office Specialist position at CB Canada requires a highly motivated and organized individual to work out of the Import office with the International Management Team. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for motivating employees and meeting deadlines by directing employees to effectively meet department goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Flexibility with start and finish times
  • Strong sense of urgency and effective time management
  • Strong understanding of international methods and procedures
  • Training existing employees and new hires
  • Documenting training provided and observed in employee training packets
  • Re-certifying existing employees on international methods and procedures
  • Participating in goal setting for administrative employee performance appraisal reviews
  • Providing employees with positive and constructive feedback on work standards and performance
  • Coaching and assisting customer counter employees with escalated customer concerns
  • Maintaining employee records, including profiles and attendance
  • Planning and coordinating employee work schedules and vacation
  • Assisting with projects and tasks assigned by Supervisor/Manager
  • Verifying and authorizing employee time cards
  • Supply ordering and invoice processing

Requirements:

  • Fully bilingual
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Good knowledge of internal systems, including ETT, OPSYS, and ISPSYS
  • Troubleshooting capabilities
  • Ability to make quick decisions
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Internet Explorer

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong international knowledge with regards to processes
  • Post-secondary degree
