Senior Virtual Engineer

At Cedent Consulting, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Virtual Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop software applications in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, with expertise in the full software development lifecycle.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting these for architectural review.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop RESTful web services and Spring Boot-based microservices.
  • Work with databases and storage systems such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital transformation and cloud computing trends, including AWS, cloud-native application development, and DevOps concepts.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of coding experience in Java, Microservices, Spring-boot, and API Development in cloud environments.
  • Proficient in Core Java technologies and Spring framework.
  • Hands-on experience in developing RESTFUL web services and Spring Boot-based microservices.
  • Angular or React presentation framework experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to participate actively in team meetings and discussions.
