Job Title: News Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled News Department Manager to join our team at 2271645 ALBERTA INC. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of news content across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Content Development: Collaborate with authors, composers, and producers to develop articles, books, films, and other content.
  • Production Scheduling: Plan and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of news content.
  • Budgeting and Finance: Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability.
  • Policy Implementation: Establish procedures and implement policies in newspaper and publishing firms.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and strong communication skills.
