Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled News Department Manager to join our team at 2271645 ALBERTA INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our news department, ensuring the smooth production of high-quality content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure efficient production schedules and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with authors, composers, and producers to develop and produce engaging content.
  • Manage budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability.
  • Review and revise policies to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
