As a Licensed Mechanic with First Student Canada, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting with preventive maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
- Diagnosing and performing all phases of vehicle and equipment repair, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
- Ensuring work orders are completed accurately.
- Assisting with mobile emergency services.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A valid driver's license.
- An S and/or T license.
- A mechanic's tool set.
- A willingness to participate in ASE certification programs, with training, testing, and bonuses provided.
We offer a competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications, as well as additional compensation for ASE certifications.
