Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement orientation service objectives aligned with the university's strategic goals.
  • Provide comprehensive career guidance to students through individual counseling sessions and group workshops.
  • Assist students in exploring their interests, identifying career options, and setting achievable academic and professional goals.
  • Advise students on admission procedures, educational opportunities, and resources available within the university and beyond.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to organize events and activities that support student success in their career journeys.
  • Administer aptitude tests and provide insightful interpretations of results to guide students in making informed decisions.
  • Maintain accurate student records and documentation related to career counseling services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as education, psychology, or counseling.
  • Fluency in both French and English.
  • Membership in the Quebec Guidance Counselor Order.
  • Proven experience in providing career guidance and counseling services to students.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for supporting their academic and professional growth.
