About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Insurance Sales Representative to join our team at Avelar Insurance & Financial Services Inc. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, identifying their insurance needs, and providing personalized solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition and Retention: Establish and maintain relationships with existing clients, identify new business opportunities, and develop strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  • Insurance Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and services, and provide expert advice to clients on their insurance needs.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Time Management and Organization: Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Continuous Learning and Professional Development: Stay current with industry developments, attend training sessions, and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Previous Sales Experience: A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the insurance industry or a related field.
  • Insurance Licenses: Possession of a valid Property and Casualty license, with the ability to obtain additional licenses as required.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
