Job Title: Experienced Layout Artist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced layout artist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating storyboards and sketches into 3D sequences of shots. This will involve determining camera composition, angles, and movement, as well as establishing set and background geometry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate storyboards and sketches into 3D sequences of shots
  • Determine camera composition, angles, and movement
  • Establish set and background geometry
  • Create basic blocking for all characters and props
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure the vision of the Director and Layout Supervisor is resolved

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of production experience or feature film experience
  • Knowledge of applicable software packages, including Maya
  • Good knowledge of camera composition and cinematographic principles
  • High attention to detail and good organization skills

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range: $41.20 to $59.16/hr
