Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled layout artist to work on a variety of projects, including feature films and television shows. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of camera composition and cinematographic principles, as well as experience with software packages such as Maya.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate storyboards and sketches into 3D sequences of shots
- Determine camera composition, angles, and movement
- Establish set and background geometry
- Create basic blocking for all characters and props
- Collaborate with production, supervisors, and team members to problem-solve and share information
Requirements:
- 3+ years of production experience or feature film experience
- Strong knowledge of camera composition and cinematographic principles
- Experience with software packages such as Maya
