Electromechanical Assembly Technician

Position Summary: The Electromechanical Assembly Technician II plays a crucial role in the assembly of advanced radiation sterilization systems, primarily working independently to ensure efficiency and quality in production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute assembly tasks with precision, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Diagnose and resolve manufacturing issues, collaborating with engineering teams to troubleshoot technical problems.
- Lead quality control initiatives, implementing rigorous checks and working closely with the quality assurance team to maintain product excellence.
- Document manufacturing processes, improvements, and resolutions, generating reports on performance metrics.
- Coordinate routine maintenance of manufacturing equipment, liaising with maintenance personnel to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the on-site installation of machinery.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess an Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or have four (4) additional years of relevant experience. A comprehensive understanding of trade skills, including electronics, plumbing, wiring, and PLCs, is essential. Proficiency in mechanical construction and the use of specialized manufacturing tools (such as welding, soldering, and brazing) is required.
