We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as a Child Caregiver at AlJa - Private Household. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a private household setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and household linens.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children.
  • Child Supervision and Care: Supervise and care for children, ensuring their emotional well-being and providing guidance on personal hygiene and social development.
  • Organizational Skills: Organize activities such as games and outings for children, and maintain a schedule for daily routines.
  • Weight Handling: Lift and carry objects weighing up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, reliable, and able to work independently.
Work Setting

This is a permanent position, working 32 to 40 hours per week in an urban area. The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately and will be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Language

The primary language of work is English or French.
