Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Brampton, working evening shifts (4:00 pm - 12:00 am). As a Registered Nurse with Spectrum Health Care, you will have the opportunity to work independently in the community, providing patient-focused care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the community, utilizing clinical skills and knowledge of wound management, infusion therapy, palliative care, and chronic disease management.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Continuously assess, anticipate, and respond to new and changing needs of patients.
- Travel within your region to provide care to patients in their homes.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of nursing experience, with community nursing experience preferred.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Ability to work independently in the community.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, required (additional languages an asset).
- Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Experience with infusion therapy, mental health, palliative care, and wound care.
- Excellent patient assessment and teaching skills.
