Job Summary
Spectrum Health Care is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our community care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient-focused, safe, and holistic nursing care to patients in their homes.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Continually assess, anticipate, and respond to new and changing needs of patients.
- Travel within your region to provide care to patients in their homes.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of nursing experience, preferably in community nursing.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Ability to work independently in the community.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, required (additional languages an asset).
- Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Experience with infusion therapy, mental health, palliative care, and wound care.
- Excellent patient assessment and teaching skills.
