GENERAL FUNCTION
The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in steering the store towards success by cultivating a team that consistently delivers the Luxury Retail Signature Experience, aiming to surpass expectations across all business operations, including financial outcomes (sales and profit targets), customer and associate satisfaction, merchandise presentation, public relations/events, and asset protection.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures effective communication of the Luxury Retail perspective with the media.
- Oversees and evaluates all sales and operational activities to meet income and sales objectives.
- Attracts and recruits exceptional talent with a background in luxury service.
- Establishes and maintains a robust succession plan for talent development.
- Mentors associates by providing timely, motivating, and constructive performance feedback.
- Accurately staffs the store to consistently deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.
- Fosters an environment that promotes the growth of managers and associates through challenging assignments and management development opportunities.
- Recognizes and rewards associates for their outstanding performance and service.
- Maintains high standards of presentation and service excellence.
- Conveys feedback from the Luxury Leadership Team based on business needs.
- Reports on trends and competitive activities to the Luxury Leadership Team.
- Continuously drives business performance by analyzing key financial metrics, monitoring operational efficiencies, and identifying trends and opportunities. Implements proactive action plans.
- Embodies Luxottica Retail's vision, mission, and values; celebrates achievements; leads by example.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Sales experience
- Strong financial acumen

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
