Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform adjustments and repairs on aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, manuals, and established protocols.
  • Conduct inspections of maintenance work executed by aircraft mechanics to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Evaluate the structural and mechanical systems of aircraft, confirming they meet safety and performance standards set by Transport Canada and the company.
  • Execute repairs and overhauls to maintain adherence to established procedures.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical systems of aircraft effectively.
  • Repair and overhaul structural, mechanical, or hydraulic systems of aircraft as needed.
  • Install or modify aircraft engines and associated systems, including mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel, and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of repairs, inspections, and certifications.
  • Dismantle and reassemble airframes, engines, or other aircraft systems for repair and cleaning.
  • Oversee the work of aircraft mechanics during modifications to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Document and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical instructions accurately.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years of relevant experience is required.
