Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled User Support Technician to join our team at CANUS ADVISORS LTD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Research and Implementation: Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions to technical issues.
  • Training and Development: Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring they have the necessary skills to use computer systems effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts, ensuring that knowledge is shared and best practices are followed.
  • Collaboration: Participate in the redesign of applications and other software, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that technical solutions meet business needs.
  • Leadership: Supervise other technical support workers in this group, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Technical Operations: Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring that systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • System Maintenance: Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations, ensuring that systems are secure and available.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
