Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and reliable Concrete Delivery Specialists to join our team. As a Concrete Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering concrete to construction sites while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Transport concrete mixtures to job sites in a timely manner, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Collaborate with customers on-site to ensure proper placement and delivery of concrete according to specifications.
  • Visually inspect concrete mixes for consistency and quality, verifying slump and constituent proportions.
  • Work closely with dispatch to optimize routes and minimize delivery times.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and ensure the cleanliness of the truck.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations established by the company, industry standards, and local authorities.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1 or 3 driver's license with air endorsement.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience safely operating heavy trucks.
  • Clean driving record (drivers abstract required).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively interact with customers.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local and provincial transportation regulations and trucking routes.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for performing minor preventative maintenance and pre-shift inspections.
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver concrete chutes weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as the capacity to stand, sit, kneel, climb ladders, and walk on uneven terrain for extended periods.
