Position Overview
The role of a Ready Mix Concrete Operator is crucial for the daily transportation of Ready Mix Concrete to various job sites, catering to homeowners and diverse clients across multiple sectors. This position emphasizes customer engagement, ensuring exceptional service with a positive demeanor to deliver high-quality products from Lafarge.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Comply with all safety and environmental regulations set by Lafarge.
  2. Conduct daily inspections of equipment, maintaining cleanliness and functionality.
  3. Establish and nurture trust-based relationships with clients in designated areas.
  4. Ensure customer satisfaction is prioritized at all times.
  5. Deliver consistent and reliable service through effective transportation.
  6. Provide a seamless and positive delivery experience for Lafarge's clientele.
  7. Navigate efficiently within the designated delivery area to ensure timely arrivals.
  8. Collaborate effectively with logistics and operations teams as well as fellow drivers.
  9. Be adaptable with scheduling, including potential weekend shifts.
  10. Understand and adhere to traffic regulations while operating commercial vehicles.
  11. Utilize electronic devices (tablets, GPS, etc.) for operational tasks.
  12. Exhibit a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
  13. Participate in the Lafarge Ready Mix Training Program.
  14. Capable of lifting weights exceeding 50 lbs.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
  1. Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  2. Experience as a Ready Mix Driver or in a related field is preferred.
  3. Familiarity with the building materials industry, including product knowledge, is advantageous.
  4. A valid Class 3Q (Air Brakes) or Class 1Q driver's license is required.
