About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Pump Operator to join our team at Tegart Concrete Pumping Ltd. As a Concrete Pump Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our concrete pumps, ensuring efficient and safe delivery of concrete to construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Concrete Pumps: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, read blueprints to determine work requirements, and assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and direct traffic at or near construction sites.
  • Ensure Safety and Security: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, and participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Site Environment: Outdoors, noisy, and dusty.
  • Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
