Position Overview

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of support within their own homes. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of personal care tasks, ensuring that clients receive the attention and assistance they require.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 month to less than 7 months of relevant experience is preferred.
Work Environment

The position is set in a non-smoking environment, primarily within the client's residence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene needs.
  • Support clients in maintaining regular exercise routines, such as walking.
  • Assist with feeding or provide support during meals.
  • Manage laundry for clothing and household linens.
  • Perform mending tasks for clothing and linens.
  • Conduct light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support.
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals.
  • Engage in cooking activities as required.

A criminal record check will be conducted to ensure the safety of clients.
