Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the proposal, planning, and execution of consulting projects, including economic impact assessments, labor market analyses, cost-benefit evaluations, and market research for clients across various sectors.
  • Innovate methodologies and models for conducting economic analyses, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Conduct business planning, feasibility assessments, strategic planning, operational reviews, program redesigns, financial evaluations, and other management consulting services.
  • Identify critical theoretical issues in projects, formulate empirical strategies, and synthesize complex datasets with relevant academic literature.
  • Oversee engagement planning and scheduling, along with project financial management, including budgets, work-in-progress, timely billing, collections, and variance recognition.
  • Discover innovative approaches to deliver added value to clients, ensuring their needs are met while fostering strong relationships.
  • Review, design, and produce high-quality deliverables, including reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control and apply specialized knowledge to proactively identify and address potential issues or risks relevant to client operations.
  • Engage with the local business community to explore business development opportunities and lead the preparation of competitive proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Mentor and coach team members, promoting their professional and personal growth through clear expectations, constructive feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Contribute to strategic and operational planning related to client and practice management, while fostering the development of innovative ideas and processes to enhance workflow.
  • Be prepared to travel as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • A Master's or PhD in Economics is required.
  • Relevant certifications such as CMC or PMP are advantageous.
  • 8 to 9 years of experience in consulting, preferably in a client-focused environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of quantitative economic methodologies and data analysis techniques.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Strong capabilities in business and practice development.
  • Demonstrated advanced project management skills and methodologies.
  • Proven ability in people management, relationship building, and leadership.
  • Strong strategic planning and conceptual thinking abilities.
