As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the financial department of Waterloo Biofilter Systems Inc., a leader in innovative wastewater treatment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Compile and analyze financial data to prepare comprehensive financial documents.
- Assist in payroll processing and maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
- Manage full cycle accounts payable, including invoice preparation and expense reporting.
- Oversee full cycle accounts receivable, which includes invoicing and payment collection for both residential and commercial clients.
- Support other accounting functions such as journal entries and month-end closing activities.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in accounting or finance.
- Approximately 4+ years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Payroll experience is an asset.
- Strong understanding of HST, WSIB, and payroll regulations.
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite is required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or NAV is considered an asset.
