Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Crisis Support Specialists to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing immediate assistance and support to individuals experiencing various crises. Your responsibilities will encompass crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and connecting individuals with appropriate resources within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and effectively to crisis situations involving individuals in need of support.
- Provide empathetic and non-judgmental crisis intervention services, utilizing de-escalation techniques to ensure safety and well-being.
- Assess individual needs and connect them with relevant resources, including mental health services, housing assistance, and community programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions and interventions.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members and community partners to ensure comprehensive support for individuals in crisis.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing compassionate care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Previous experience in crisis intervention or a related field is highly desirable.
