Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing radiographic and fluoroscopic duties, working closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards of practice.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in medical imaging modalities.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to teach and mentor others, with a focus on professional development and knowledge sharing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to integrate and evaluate complex data.
