Job Summary

The Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC is seeking a skilled Health and Safety Trainer to deliver instructional health and safety programs to client organizations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality training programs that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Preparation and Delivery
    • Coordinate training schedules with the Training and Development Manager.
    • Deliver engaging and informative training programs in various formats, including in-class, on-site, and virtual instruction.
  • Program Development
    • Participate in updating training materials, including toolbox talks, infographics, and training guides.
    • Collaborate with instructional designers to update content and incorporate regulatory changes as required.
  • Key Relationships and Collaborations
    • Report to the Training and Development Manager.
    • Collaborate with instructional designers, marketing, and services teams.
Requirements
  • University degree in OHS or a Bachelor of Education degree with OHS certificate/training or equivalent.
  • Five to seven years of corporate training experience.
  • High-level competency in delivering instructor-led classroom training.
  • Certification or credential in adult instructional techniques.
