VHA Home HealthCare is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist at VHA, you will work with a diverse group of pediatric clients in their homes and/or schools, providing assessment, consultation, and interventions using evidence-based best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and implement occupational therapy interventions in accordance with professional practice guidelines and standards.
- Develop and implement client-centered care plans in collaboration with the client and care team.
- Ensure coordinated delivery of care through ongoing communication with the client care team.
- Document all assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress.
- Support safe client care through continuous quality improvement.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized school.
- Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- Valid Driver's License with access to a vehicle.
- Compassionate and empathetic individual with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
