Strategic Initiatives Manager

At CLevelCrossing, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Initiatives and Planning Manager to join our team. This role is a great opportunity to work with our executive team and contribute to the development of our company's strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Chief of Staff for the President & CEO and his leadership team, providing strategic guidance and support.
- Oversee a team responsible for governance, strategic planning, and project management, ensuring effective coordination and execution of key initiatives.
- Lead the build and delivery of team plans, priorities, and schedules, establishing and monitoring sustaining activities and levels of service.
- Aid with prioritizing major deliverables and projects, driving timelines and quality to meet and exceed stakeholder expectations.
- Represent the President & CEO team in larger cross-functional settings, aligning priorities and providing subject matter expertise.
- Support the creation, monitoring, and governance of key strategies and initiatives, working closely with stakeholders and top management.
- Manage a team of 1 direct-report, Sr. analyst, Governance and Strategy, building and developing a team with a wide range of knowledge and experience levels.
- Maintain an inclusive and nurturing work environment that drives employee motivation and engagement.
Requirements:
- 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a management role.
- University degree in Business or an analytical field such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering.
- Acquired an MBA or other professional designation (an asset).
- Creative, problem-solving capabilities and an ability to think strategically.
- Comfortable interacting/presenting to all levels of management, including senior leadership.
- Customer-focused and thrive on teamwork and collaboration.
- Strong business acumen and awareness of general market trends.
- Previous experience with governance processes, strategic planning, and managing projects.
- Results-oriented and have previously demonstrated both flexibility and creativity in your working style.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent spoken and written abilities in English, and a working-level ability in French. Other languages are an asset.
