Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Initiatives Manager to join our Strategy Office, reporting directly to the Chief of Staff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading strategic program governance and managing interdependencies within initiatives and teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Health Documentation: Own the health documentation of projects, tracking statuses against scope and budget, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, and budgets, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure project alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Operational Support: Support the operating and strategy calendar for the leadership team, under the Chief of Staff, including program managing quarterly business reviews, team strategy offsites, and townhalls.
  • Long-Range Planning: Manage and implement long-range planning frameworks and processes to connect long-term strategy to annual/quarterly operating plans.
  • Methodology Development: Develop and iterate innovative program management methodologies and frameworks.

Requirements

  • Education: University degree in commerce or a related field.
  • Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience related to strategic planning, program/project management, or management consulting, with retail industry experience highly preferred.
  • Language: Fluency in English and French (both oral and written).
