A top employer in Greater Toronto, our client is seeking a Technical Service Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a quality management system to ensure consistent laboratory operation and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with technicians and third-party labs to meet quality objectives and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Test concrete and aggregate materials to meet specifications and ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Assist in certification and proficiency testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Operate and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Generate reports and data analysis to inform business decisions and improve processes.
  • Manage inventory and procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as civil engineering, materials science, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of concrete and aggregates testing, including testing methods and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills to ensure accurate test results and effective problem-solving.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with technicians, third-party labs, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office to generate reports and data analysis.
  • Problem-solving and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and adapt to changing weather conditions.
  • Customer-oriented approach to ensure high-quality products and excellent customer service.
  • Valid driver's license to travel to job sites and conduct testing.
