About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Services Engineer to join our team at 3R Truck Service. As a Technical Services Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our customers, ensuring their MongoDB databases are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers on MongoDB database management and administration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of MongoDB products and services, as well as industry trends and best practices
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including customers and internal teams
  • Participate in the development and implementation of technical solutions to meet customer needs
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in database industry, with a focus on operational production databases at scale
  • Deep understanding of database management systems, including MongoDB
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Experience with cloud architectures, including Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or Amazon Web Services
  • Knowledge of systems engineering, including Linux performance, memory management, I/O tuning, configuration, security, networking, clusters, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to analyze issues holistically, from the application tier through the database, down to the storage
  • Desire to help people and ability to think on your feet, remain calm under pressure, and solve problems in real-time
  • Basic coding/scripting ability in one or more languages, including Java, Python, Ruby, C, C++, C#, JavaScript, Go, etc.
