Job Summary

Vention is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its manufacturing and procurement functions. As Vice President, Manufacturing and Procurement, you will be responsible for scaling manufacturing operations, optimizing inventory turns, and improving service levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the global manufacturing strategy for Vention's North America and EMEA distribution centers.
  • Scale production capacity by setting up structured assembly processes and cadences.
  • Improve assembly productivity and reduce unit costs.
  • Operate client-assembly services, ensuring quality, margin, and lead-time targets.
  • Support EMEA operations by implementing local-production capacity in sync with revenue growth.
  • Participate in product development, driving supply chain and manufacturing deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the Quality team to drive quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive selected manufacturing outsourcing activities to reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent).
  • 10+ years of manufacturing experience in medium/high-throughput assembly lines.
  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing, supplier management, and negotiations.
  • Skilled in at least one quality methodology (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Strong data analytic background with the ability to run complex analysis independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation abilities.
  • Passion for optimizing assembly lines and supply chains.
