Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Brunswick Square Dental. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Assist dentists with various tasks, including preparing plaster models and moulds, ordering dental and office supplies, and sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health.
- Take and develop X-rays, record dental procedures, and invoice patients for services rendered.
- Perform other administrative and clinical tasks as required.
- College diploma or certificate in dental assisting or a related field.
- Registration with provincial or territorial authorities and certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts and respond to changing priorities.
