Dental Assistant

We are a reputable dental practice seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Licensed Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures
- Assist dentists with dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials
- Take and develop X-rays, as well as record dental procedures performed on patients
- Order dental and office supplies, and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health
- Schedule and confirm appointments, and maintain accurate records
- College diploma or certificate in dental assisting
- Registration with provincial or territorial authorities
- Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
