Huronia Transition Homes is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Vice-President to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that drive business growth and improve employee engagement.

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's business objectives
  • Lead the development and implementation of organizational policies and programs
  • Manage the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to employees to enhance their skills and performance
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills
  • Manage the organization's benefits program, including health and dental insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits
  • Develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Manage the organization's payroll and timekeeping systems
  • Develop and implement HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR leadership roles
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with employees and stakeholders
