Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Vice-President to join our team at the Government of Canada - Central. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of human resources policies and programs, as well as providing strategic guidance to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement human resources policies and programs to support the organization's strategic objectives
  • Provide strategic guidance to senior management on human resources matters
  • Lead the development and implementation of talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent
  • Manage the HR budget and ensure effective use of resources
  • Represent the organization in negotiations with employee groups and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior HR role
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful human resources strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
