Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Stikine Health Centre. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our community.

About the Role:
  • Provide clinical follow-up care to patients in accordance with their primary care plan and personal goals of care.
  • Work collaboratively with the interprofessional team to provide competent, safe, and ethical care to individuals, groups, and communities.
  • Develop and implement care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing.
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
  • Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of the assigned area, as required by the position.

  • Assessment and Intervention: Demonstrated ability to complete initial and ongoing client assessments and provide nursing care through appropriate interventions.

  • Teaching: Ability to transmit information to instruct clients and others about topics essential to healthcare and well-being.
  • Management: Manages time and resources, implementing activities to promote cooperation among relevant others.
  • Leadership: Promotes staff morale, cooperation, and risk-taking, creative planning for change and innovations.
