Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to join our team as a Mechanic Assistant at 1178441 BC LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide essential support to our tradespersons and apprentices in various outdoor and challenging work environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist tradespersons and apprentices with tasks such as moving equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and cleaning machines and work areas.
  • Work in a variety of outdoor settings, including rural areas, and be comfortable with heights, confined spaces, and hazardous conditions.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
