Job Title: Mechanic Helper

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Mechanic Helper to join our team at 1178441 BC LTD. As a Mechanic Helper, you will be responsible for assisting tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in various tasks related to heavy equipment maintenance and operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required
  • Hold stakes during surveying activities
  • Provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
Work Environment:

As a Mechanic Helper, you will be working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, noise, and dust. You will also be required to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Requirements:
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Initiative and ability to work independently
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks
