About the Role

Celine's Fish & Chips is seeking a skilled Restaurant Cashier to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register with accuracy and efficiency
  • Process payments, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card transactions
  • Manage daily/shift payments and reconcile with total sales
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Assist with taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced food service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
