About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Restaurant Cashier to join our team at Celine's Fish & Chips. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) System to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage Cash Handling by processing cash, credit, and debit card transactions, as well as handling customer payments and refunds.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Work Environment by adhering to health and safety standards and ensuring the restaurant is clean and tidy at all times.
  • Work Effectively in a Fast-Paced Environment by multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and managing stress in a busy restaurant setting.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, and to provide support and assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Previous Cash Handling Experience an asset.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills required.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment and to multitask with ease.
  • Reliability and Dependability essential.
