Job Summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking a skilled Certified Millwright to join our team at our Bradford facility. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for inspecting and assembling machinery, relocating equipment, and interpreting blueprints to determine work procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and assemble machinery using hand and power tools
  • Relocate equipment and position machinery for assembly
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures
  • Dismantle machines using hand or power tools
  • Construct foundations for new equipment using building materials
  • Align machines and equipment during installation
  • Use a lathe to grind, file, and turn machine parts
  • Assemble machinery and equipment according to vendor manuals and specifications
  • Repair problems associated with new equipment
  • Fabricate new machine parts if original parts are missing or damaged

Requirements

  • Industrial Millwright Certification 433A
  • Experience in Manufacturing Industry (Automotive experience an asset)
  • Basic Electrical Knowledge
  • Ability to detect and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment
  • Able to fabricate new parts to replace defective parts during machine setup, maintenance, or overhaul
  • Thorough knowledge of load bearing capabilities of equipment
  • Demonstrated aptitude in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
  • Ability to weld and operate shop equipment
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
