Key Responsibilities
  • Install or replace roofing materials such as asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and masonry tiles on sloped roofs.
  • Apply single-ply roofing systems using waterproof materials, including modified plastics and elastomeric compositions.
  • Conduct repairs on existing roofing systems.
  • Apply waterproof coatings to masonry surfaces.
  • Utilize hand and power tools for metal roof installation and repair.
  • Set up scaffolding and other working platforms as needed.
Supervision
  • No supervisory responsibilities required.
Certifications
  • Completion of working at heights training is mandatory.
Specialization
  • Roofing with a focus on conventional and inverted built-up systems, modified roofing systems, and single-ply sheet membrane roofing.
Transportation Requirements
  • Must have own transportation and be willing to travel.
Physical Demands
  • Fast-paced and physically demanding work environment.
  • Ability to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks.
  • Capable of handling heavy loads, up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Willingness to work overtime and perform repetitive tasks under pressure.
Tools and Equipment
  • Steel-toed safety boots are required.
