Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plastics Machine Operator to join our team at EPL Plastics. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various plastics manufacturing equipment, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain plastics manufacturing equipment, including mixing machines, calender machines, and extruding machines.
  • Weigh and mix resins, colorants, and other chemicals according to formulae.
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of materials produced, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Unload and transport materials to the next production stage.
  • Set up and operate moulding machines to mould plastic products.
  • Prepare and change moulds and adjust equipment for production line changes.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of raw materials and finished products.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in plastics manufacturing or a related field.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
Work Environment

Our production facility is a noisy environment with a fast-paced atmosphere. You will be required to work in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues.
