About the Role

Vangie's Cleaning Services Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Cleaning Supervisor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, and that our team members are working safely and productively.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that our cleaning services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Accurately record and manage financial transactions related to our cleaning services.
  • Receive Payments: Handle payments for specialized cleaning jobs and ensure that all financial transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to our cleaning team members as needed.
  • Coordinate Work Activities: Work closely with other departments to ensure that our cleaning services are integrated with other business operations.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that our team members are working efficiently and effectively.
Supervision

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 people.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work Under Pressure: You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will need to be able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Tight Deadlines: You will need to be able to work efficiently and effectively to meet tight deadlines.
  • Repetitive Tasks: You will be performing repetitive tasks on a daily basis.
  • Physically Demanding: You will need to be physically able to perform the duties of the role, which may include lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time.

  • Client Focus: You will need to be able to provide excellent customer service and ensure that our clients are satisfied with our cleaning services.
  • Reliability: You will need to be reliable and able to follow through on commitments.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Hours: You will be working 35 hours per week.
