Port Hawkesbury Paper LP is seeking a skilled Millwright or Millwright Apprentice to join its Maintenance team. This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for the preventative maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of production equipment and plant systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform equipment installation, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and paper machine rolls.

• Replace and track conveyor belts, and troubleshoot and diagnose problems.

• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to find and order parts, and provide detailed feedback on work orders.

• Work safely as part of a team, and independently in a fast-paced work setting.

Requirements:

• Millwright Certificate of Trade - Red Seal or Apprenticeship.

• Experience in maintenance is preferred, with recent Millwright experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting is considered an asset.
